What screeners check on a teacher CV
State your teaching licence or permit position plainly — held, applied for, or eligible. KHDA and ADEK require a teaching permit, and schools screen for where you are in that process.
Name the curriculum and year groups you have taught; "primary teacher" alone does not match UAE postings.
Confirm that your degree and teaching qualification are attested, or that attestation is in progress.
Include safeguarding or child-protection training, subject CPD, and any inspection experience (BSO, CIS, inspection frameworks).

What do Dubai schools look for on a teacher CV?
Curriculum experience, year groups and subjects, your teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, B.Ed or equivalent), attestation status, safeguarding training and measurable student outcomes.
Do I need a KHDA teaching permit before applying?
No. Schools sponsor the permit process once they hire you, but stating that your qualifications meet the requirement and your documents are attested removes the biggest screening doubt.
Should I list student outcomes on a teaching CV?
Yes. Attainment and progress data, class sizes and intervention results make a teaching CV verifiable, which is rare and highly persuasive to UAE school leaders.
